As a local parent, I have experienced firsthand what it means to have a trustee who truly listens, cares, and takes action. When we faced a challenging incident at our School, Estelle didn't just offer sympathy—she stepped up and actively helped me navigate and manage the situation. Her guidance, professional mediation background, and accessibility turned a highly stressful process into a manageable one. Throughout her term, Estelle has proven herself to be a transparent and high-integrity advocate. She focuses on what truly matters to families: championing student achievement, ensuring safe and inclusive learning environments. She brings real substance and over 30 years of education experience to the table. Our schools need a proven leader who walks the talk. Let's make sure our voices are heard by keeping Estelle Cohen fighting for our kids.
I can vouch for all of the above having worked under her leadership in the department of Continuing Education. Estelle knows how to mediate in every situation whether it be adults or children. She is diplomatic and respectful, and has the ability to get things done in a tactful and responsible manner. Her experience as head of many departments in education makes her qualified for the job of trustee. As a former teacher under Estelle's guidance, I highly recommend her for the above appointment.
Estelle is always ready to listen and to make sure that each child has the best opportunity and experience possible in YRDSB. Estelle listens- And she has continued to support parents and children throughout the last few years.
Estelle is a genuine person- compassionate- and always does her best. Estelle will work hard for your children.
Estelle has the experience to keep “ fighting” for you and your children. Please remember to vote for Estelle Cohen On election day.
Estelle walks her talk. She is intelligent , organized, experienced and passionate. We need people like Estelle to advocate for Public Education. Along with her exemplary work ethic her personality is warm and respectful. Parents and ratepayers will enjoy interacting with Estelle and feel comfortable sharing their hopes and dreams for a first rate education system.
Estelle helped us immensely when we were dealing with some issues at our school. She was so supportive and helpful throughout the process. She listened to our concerns, helped us navigate the situation, and made us feel that we were not dealing with it alone. We truly appreciated her responsiveness and the time she took to help our family.
Over the past four years, I have had the pleasure of working closely with Trustee Estelle Cohen. She is a dedicated, experienced, and respected leader who always puts students and families first.
Estelle is approachable, responsive, and works hard to represent the residents of Wards 4 and 5. She asks thoughtful questions, supports positive improvements, and works well with others to achieve the best outcomes. I am confident that by re-electing Estelle Cohen, the residents of Wards 4 and 5 will continue to have a strong and trusted voice in public education
Please consider my endorsement for Estelle Cohen with whom I worked for 15 years in the Toronto DSB’s Adult and Continuing education department. Estelle co-managed the Adult ESL programs, supervising adult learners, instructors and program sites. She is a team player, a caring individual, an excellent listener and problem solver and her skills are well suited to the role of school trustee.
I urge you to review Estelle’s credentials and make your vote count for Estelle Cohen in October.
